 Technology Product Description:
The amount of $5600 used in the calculations is based on the purchase of 8 aluminum rims and 8 tires which is what is necessary to change over from 8 tractor tires and 8 trailer tires. Traditional dual tires are replaced with one single-wide tire and aluminum wheel. This technology can be applied to all tractor and trailer tire positions except for the steer tires. This technology saves fuel by reducing load on the engine by reducing the weight and rolling resistance of the tires and wheels.

There is also a slight aerodynamic benefit to this technology as well.
